Paul Newman

A well respected session musician, Paul has played for a number of established bands including the internationally renowned 'Boys of the Lough' and the Irish step dance group, 'Clann na N'Gael'.

 

After studying for a B.A. Hons in music at Newcastle Polytechnic, Paul was approached by Folk Works, the highly acclaimed promoters of folk music in the North East of England to give guitar workshops, and he is now an experienced teacher and performer.

 

Paul's driving rhythm keeps the dancers on the floor, and his singing makes great listening while the dancers catch their breath.
